The Seasiders reserve team followed up their recent win over Manchester City with a 4-0 victory at Chester City.

Steve Thompson was able to include Lee Jones, Ciaran Donnelly, David Fox, Marcus Bean, Rory Prendergast, Keigan Parker and Matthew Blinkhorn in his starting line up

Matthew Blinkhorn put the Seasiders in front before seeing Rory Prendergast double the advantage with a 25-yard thunderbolt.

After the break Sean Paterson made it 3-0 from the penalty spot after Keigan Parker had been upended inside the area.

Parker rounded off an impressive performance with a goal in the last minute.

The reserves are next in action on 4^th October when they take on Carlisle United at Fleetwood Town, kick off 7pm
