'Craines' arrived at the club in the summer on a free transfer from Leeds United and has already become a consistent performer for the Seasiders at left-back. He started his career coming through the ranks at Celtic before moving to England to join Southampton before agreeing to join Leeds United. Crainey grabbed his first goal for the club in the 2-2 draw with Sheffield United at Bloomfield Road when he scored a great free-kick to level the game at 1-1.
