Larry Waits On Decisions From Duo
Simon Grayson is waiting on the decisions of Claus Jorgensen and Andy Morrell as to whether the pair will be back at Bloomfield Road next season.
After releasing 11 players from the club yesterday, the manager made it clear that he would like the former Coventry pair to remain with the Seasiders.
Jorgensen has started 30 league games for the club this season, scoring four goals along the way. He has been an instrumental figure of late and the manager yesterday offered the midfielder a new contract to stay.
Andy Morrell has yet to be offered a new deal, but the manager has made it clear that he would like the striker to also remain at the club. Larry has outlined his plans for Andy next season but this depends on how much football he wants to play. Morrell has been given time to think over the situation and is set to meet again with the manager sometime over the next week.
On the situations regarding the pair, Grayson said: "Claus has been offered a new deal. We're in discussions with Andy Morrell about certain situations with him."

In offering a new deal to Claus, the manager added: "I think you look at Claus and he's played an integral part for us. Over the last few months he's chipped in with some good goals - but he's had a good season.
"He started the season out of the team, worked hard to get back in to it and he's kept the shirt. He's been a driving force in the midfield area alongside Michael Flynn, and Keith Southern at the back end of the season. So I just thought that Claus deserved it."

The manager then went on to reveal what was conveyed to Andy Morrell, and said: "We had a discussion about his position, how much football that he wants to play next year - and we'll have another chat with Andy probably to the back end of this week or early next week.
"With Andy it's a little bit different to Claus. Claus has had an offer made to him, Andy we're just having informal chats about what his thoughts are for next year and our thoughts for him."
