Claus Happy With Role
Claus Jorgensen is enjoying his football in the Pool team at the moment, albeit in somewhat of a new role.
After spending the start of the season on the sidelines with injury, Claus was left to wait for his chance in the side this season but since the Seasiders game with Scunthorpe on November 10th the midfielder hasn't looked back.
Jorgensen has only missed one fixture since then, which incidentally came at QPR last Tuesday due to fluid on his knee. After biding his time this season, the midfielder is happy with how things are currently going.
"I'm pleased because I've played in a little bit more defensive role and I seem to have settled there as well. I would like to get forward more but it's all about balancing out and I'm sort of developing in that sense as a player, I suppose," he said.
The midfielder is due to come out of contract at the end of the season but given a choice, he would 'definitely' like to stay with the Seasiders: "I really feel part of it here, the dressing room and the atmosphere is brilliant," he added.
