THE SEASIDERS reserve team are in action on Wednesday evening when they take on Carlisle United at Fleetwood Town, kick off 7pm.

Pool currently lie in fourth place eight points behind leaders Preston, but Steve Thompson's men do have three games in hand on their Lancashire rivals, tonight's opponents Carlisle also have one eye on the title the men from Brunton Park are just four points behind Preston and have two games in hand.

Pool are able to call upon seven players with first team experience and the Seasiders midfield looks particularly strong with Andy Welsh, Matt Kay, Stuart Green and John Hills all starting, Phil Doughty, Paul Tierney and Simon Wiles will also play a part in the game.
